Three Bad Days

Just wanted to get it out there that since Saturday afternoon, I have been miserable with nausea and stomach pain.

My friend Marguerite helped on Saturday, and today hospice nurse Judy set up new meds.

Hard to talk on phone when so miserable. Texts are easier.

Parents are here and Patsy babysat this aft.

I was just about to comment that the tide seems to have turned, but then I barfed. Honest to God.

Is that irony?

Or is that the opposite of irony, which someone recently told me was wrinkly?

(I love that.)

Anyway, there has been improvement.

Oh, and Hospice Aide arrives soon for the first time.

I'm so glad you've seen some improvement, even if arrived with a side order of nausea. I love the irony/wrinkly antonyms! Like parking in the driveway and driving on the parkway. Sending much love, Jeannie

P.S. Phil is in the kitchen grinding up bags of jalapeno and cayenne peppers for one of his strange concoctions. Remember how he used to collect various kinds of hot sauces? Our fridge was always stocked with evil brews of one kind or another. He now likes making his own, usually for an Indian curry. So that's the news here. J

Hi Karen, Glad to see you are feeling better, but sorry to hear you had those bad days. I also appreciated the opposite of irony is wrinkly. Very fun. Take really good care.
