It Is Over

Karen Granger Ross passed away this morning on August 16 @ 12:59 am.  Karen died peacefully in her sleep.  She went into a deep sleep around 10 am on August 15.  She never so much as moved a finger since that time.

I will miss my love of over 20 years.  I can’t express how lonely I feel right now.  I hurt so much and yet I must keep going for that is what Karen wanted.

Goodbye my love.

Lou, I am so sorry. I know we don't know each other. I never even met Karen in person. But this news leaves me numb and aching for you. I am so so sorry. Karen was a great source of joy. Thinking of you and your families.

This has been a challenging journey for you and Karen. My heart aches in empathy to your feelings. I know for me a light is a little dimmer. I pray it never goes out. You and Karen have a wonderful legacy. Both your contributions continue to ripple in ever unknown places and ways. Please keep splashing!

Dear Lou,

Condolences on Karen's passing from myself, my Mother Cathy, and my Brother Ryan.

Karen was my favorite older cousin. After we would have Easter Dinner at Aunt Pat & Uncle Omer's Karen would bring us boys to the nearby Church to run around the field and get some fresh air. I loved climbing up the short stone walls with Karen ever so close if help was needed for a boost. I was the youngest of the group and so when we would cross the streets on our yearly journey she would say to me "give me your paw" I thought it was the coolest expression. Playfulness combined with a sense of guardianship and Love. Warm Loving Cousin Karen, many thanks.

Take care Lou, we will be Praying for you~

Lou,
I am so very sorry for your lost like many, many others. Karen's acceptance of everyone was the greatest quality of all. It did not matter if you were homeless, rich or poor she treated us all equal as you did when we were invited to you home so graceously. May Jesus hold you in his arms now that Karen is truly at peace.
Love you

Dear Lou,
I knew Karen's journey on earth was coming to an end and she was heading for the big meeting in the sky, but it still feels so sad. Her presence was a bright shining light even through all the surgery, chemo, and pain. She was a great inspiration to me and I will never forget her and her smile. Lou, I pray that your journey is not too difficult in the days and months ahead. Your love for each other will go on and on. Blessings to you...Marge

Karen was an amazing woman who had such a huge Heart of gold.

I have no words to describe exactly how much she will be missed.
She had something I wanted- Joy.
and Its something I try and pass on to people I work with the way she worked with me when I needed her the most.
