Watching Olympics on DVR

I woke up at 3:00am feeling okay.

I stayed in bed for an hour and a half, but now I have been up for an hour watching yesterday's Olympics with Lou.

Right away, I had a bite of coffee ice cream. Nice way to start the day after not eating hardly nothing for a week.

Lou made me an egg, and I ate half. Waiting to see if I barf.

Aren't the Olympics fun? Eric has been watching nonstop, using his iPad as a backup so he can see two events at once. I've been working on a proposal, so I've missed some of the excitement, but that's over today and then I can join the family activity. I'm glad that you are eating again, Karen, and able to move around. I'm wishing you a day of exciting events and good company with Lou. Much love, Jeannie

Hugs Karen, so glad you could have coffee ice cream. That is still my favorite. Could only be better with Heath bar in it!
Do you ever watch those 82 lithe bodies twisting themselves into rretzels, flying around on and near bars....and think, " I
Could do that".......
Love, aunt peggy

Lou bought the Heath Bar version, but it was way too decadent for me.

Yes! I always think that could be me up there.

I always think that could be you up there too! I love the Olympics but wish I could keep from reading the spoilers because they are spoiling my experience! (Sometimes I just get surprised by the spoiler but sometimes I just can't resist.)

MMM coffee ice cream. That was one of my mother's favorites along with cream of wheat and and a "juicy fried egg". Hoping tomorrow brings cheer and lots of love. I am also enjoying the olympics. Go Gabby, Michael and all teams USA. Whew. When I think of their dedication I tell myself you can stick with this project.
Love, Dana

Hi Karen, writing a quick note before I leave for work at my temporary job today. Love you lots and hope your Friday is a good one. And I agree watching the Olympics has been terrific, Jim has it on every night so I have really gotten into it and watching Gabby and Michael Phelps and the others get their gold medals so inspiring. Just like you and Lou!!!!! Love you lots, xoxo Debbie P.

Gosh, I don't think I've ever watched the Olympics and thought I could do any of that! Hmmm, except maybe rowing -- mainly because I like being on the water, and hey! you're sitting down. :-) But it sure is fun to watch. Hope you're continuing to enjoy it too.
